We followed our usual route heading south stopping for chili fixings in Chiefland and then heading to Manatee Springs State Park. We had a nice wooded, level spot to just pull into and jump out and go hiking to the springs. We walked the boardwalk to view the river and were surprised to see some snorkelers in the springs. It was nice enough to prepare our chili in the Instant Pot and enjoy dinner outdoors before we scurried inside to get out of the cold. Our electric or propane heater kept us toasty as we also had our ceramic heater. We woke up to frost on the car and a chilly 28 degrees and did a hike to the Sink Hole and back around to grab a second coffee near the springs.
