We got an early start having our coffee and banana walnut oat bran muffins on the road to meet up with the Bay County Audubon Society at Gator Lake in Sant Andrews State Park. We had a great bird walk around the lake with Pam and Bob joining us. We then went over to the boat launch and Shell Island Ferry Dock to leave our car and trailer since it was too early to check in before heading over to eat lunch at Bayou Joe's. Pam and Bob dropped us off at the entrance to the park and we walked to the campground. We had a great site on the water and took a walk around the campground and over to the boardwalk leading to an observation deck at sundown before cooking dinner

In the morning, we packed up and headed over to the beach parking lot and walked along the jetty and down the beach before leaving the park headed for Saint George Island State Park to birdwatch at the Youth Group Camp where we had met the Bay Audubon Society before.
