We usually don't take the interstate since it is so boring but we did this trip and stopped at Buc-ee's in Orange Beach, Alabama to see what the hype is all about. It is like our favorite Wawa Convenience store with more merchandise like a souvenir shop and all the food pre-packaged with no place to sit inside or outdoors so we won't be stopping again. It started to rain as we approached Lake Charles and stopped as we parked at our Harvest Host Crying Eagle Brewing Company. We ended up eating our chicken nachos and sampling the beers inside as it rained and then enjoyed a walk around the outdoor seating area when the rain stopped.
