Little Oak Campground in Cherokee National Forest, Bristol, Tennessee

We got an early start eating a bran muffin on the way with our coffee spotting a few deer along the roadside. On our evening walk we spotted a fox but he was too quick for a picture. We had a short trip through Georgia and into Tennessee where we stopped at Fort Loudon State Historic Park picnic area for lunch. We had a long day due to google maps leading us astray and losing an hour to Eastern Time Zone. Along Dolly Parton Parkway we ran into a light rain and it cooled things off. By the time we found our way around the lake in Cherokee National Forest to Little Oak Campground, it was 6:30 pm at a comfortable 77 degrees as we are boondocking with electricity and air conditioning. Luckily we stopped  at one of the few grocery stores for steaks and corn on the cob  so we are relaxing with our bluff side view of the lake as we grill out for dinner.
