We had our yogurt, blueberries and granola for breakfast and got away at day break. It was interstate almost all the way through Memphis, Tennessee and Little Rock, Arkansas on our way to Chaffey's Crossing near Fort Smith, Arkansas and JKC Cellars. This is an old army training center that was turned over to the city to renovate. The wine tasting room has the original wooden floors and is a huge hosting venue. We tasted three of their red wines that they make from grapes from all over. We enjoyed our own snacks and conversation with the winemaker's sister who was tending bar. We walked around the area and stopped in at Fort Smith Brewery for pulled pork nachos and a beer before calling it a day. We got an early start and ate at 24 hour dinner in Fort Smith, Benton's Diner which was an excellent choice.
