Starr Brothers Brewing Company, Harvest Host, Albuquerque, New Mexico

We cooked oatmeal and packed up and left Santa Fe Skies RV Resort headed down the Turquoise Trail Scenic Highway to Albuquerque. There was breathtaking scenery and many artsy places to stop along the way. We passed through San Marcos/Lone Butte on our way to Cerrillos Hills State Park where we stopped and hiked up into the mining hills. From there we headed to Madrid and walked the town stopping at the Mine Shaft Tavern and Cantina for a Greene Chile Cheeseburger and fries and local brew. We passed through Golden and Sandia Park and could see the Sandia Peak Ski Area. We passed through Cedar Crest and stopped a the Tijeras Pueblo Archaeological Site at the Sandia Ranger station for a self-guided hike around the dig site and through a native garden. From there we jumped on the interstate to make it to Starr Brothers Brewing Company which has a large parking lot just for harvest host RVers.
