We got away around 7 am and stopped for breakfast at Gator Cafe in Baker, Florida and then headed on the back roads to North Graysport campground on Lake Grenada in Grenada Mississippi. The rain finally fell right before we pulled into the deserted campground. We had to move sites as the power was not working and then the rain started harder. We ended up making instant pot chili in the RV as the rain never let up. In the morning we spotted one other RV near the bathhouse as we stopped to take a shower before heading out at dawn. We drove past the boat launch landing to get a closer look at the drained lake. We had spotted the lack of water in the lake that they had drained to repair the dam which explained why no one was camping. It had lovely wooded spacious sites like a Corp Of Engineers campground and we enjoyed listening to the rain on the roof and the peace and quiet.
