Another rain shower overnight but we were already packed up and ready to go find breakfast outside of Cherokee National Forest. Since we had been out of cell phone range, we searched out Panera's for a second cup of coffee and internet as we only have a short drive today to our Harvest Host of Two Roots Alpaca Farm and Fiber Mill for the night. In Greeneville we stopped at the Andrew Johnson National Historic site and visited his burial site, a replica of childhood home and house before he moved into the White House. Then the rains came as we headed down the narrow and winding roads to the Alpaca Farm. The narrow driveway was steep and when we lost traction it was time to back up and head-on. The owner offered to tow us up but instead, we headed to Kinder TVA Park close by and were guided into a pull-through site for the night. We got the visor up as the rain started again and then it stopped while we grilled pork chops and eggplant. It rained most of the night so we were glad we stayed there but missed the opportunity to see the alpacas.
