We are following the interstate through the rolling hills of Pennsylvania and Maryland mountains on our way to our Harvest Host stop for tonight at High Ground Brewing in Terra Alta, West Virginia. We woke up to a sunny but cool 58 degrees and perfect jacket weather. We took a detour for coffee and stopped at a couple interstate rest stops and ended up on a one lane road with a one lane bridge as we approached the brewery right at opening time of 3 pm. It was just us and one other guy in a huge open taproom of a renovated warehouse with a large fenced in outdoor seating area. We are parked for the night on a grassy knoll not far from the railroad tracks where we grilled out as they did not have their visiting food truck tonight.
