We headed to Locust Lake State Park near Pottsville, Pennsylvania camping for two nights. We missed touring the Yuengling Brewery, the oldest brewery in American, while we lived in Pennsylvania so that's what we are checking off our bucket list. It rained hard the first evening but we stayed cooking under cover of the visor awning. The next morning we found a great coffee shop that served savory crepes and mine was a spinach, feta cheese and hummus delight. We made it over to the Yuengleng Brewery for the first tour of the day and had a great time hearing the history and touring the gift shop and of course sampling the brews. As the oldest couple there, we got special attention and got served a custom Black and Tan and a Flight light beer with splash of Mango brew as well as tasting the Lord Chesterville or Chettie as the locals call it. There are six that are not shipped outside Pennsylvania so we bought a case of the Premium Beer that was our favorite to take home. We got back to the campground to hike the path around the lake before the afternoon showers hit.
