It was a foggy morning as we ate breakfast at The Porch on the porch overlooking Friar's Bay. We got a friendly Customs Guy at the border crossing into the US at Lubec, Maine. We drove over to West Quoddy Lighthouse State Park and the most northern point in the US as the fog lifted. It was a pleasant drive into Bangor where we stopped at the City Forest Park and walked the bog boardwalk trail and another four mile hike through the woods. Heading into Skohegan,we stopped at the tallest Indian monument and also the shosrt trail across the river to see the old mill and now a hydroelectric plant. We got to Bigelow Brewing Company as they opened at 4 pm and then had a great afternoo in the porch swing drinking craft bnrews and eating their wood burned pizza. A big crowd showed up for trivia night and we relaxed in the lawn chairs in the field by Cutie.
