Legends Estate Winery, Beamsville, Ontario, Canada

We were on the road by 6:30 am after making coffee as we only had to pull out of the winery and be on our way to our Canadian border crossing. We were in Niagra Falls and over the Rainbow Bridge to Ontario by 8 am and were lucky to pass up the car line of 20 cars to proceed in the bus/RV line where we were the only car. We were immediately processed through after answering a few questions and found parking up the hill from the falls. We walked along the roadside path above the falls and took in the breathtaking views. We then drove to the Waterfront Trail in Saint Catherine and had a shady walk along where the big ships come in through the drawbridge and lock. After grocery shopping, we took the short drive to Legends Estates Winery and camped on the bluff above Lake Ontario next to the vineyards. We had a great wine tasting along with eating a perigee appetizer on the front porch. We grilled pork, asparagus, and corn on the cob for dinner along with the fresh cherries we picked up from a roadside stand waiting on the drawbridge.
